ESSEX COUNTY, MA
The Essex National Heritage Commission is hereby soliciting sealed bids for the Essex Coastal Scenic Byway Sign Fabrication and Installation Project. Bids will be opened at the Office of the Essex National Heritage Commission at 10 Federal Street, Suite 12, Salem, MA 01970 on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Bids received after such time will not be accepted. Sealed envelopes containing bids must be clearly marked in accordance with the Bidding and Contract Requirements. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid security consisting of a BID BOND, CASH, or, CERTIFIED CHECK issued by a responsible bank or trust company in the amount of 5% of the bid price.
Bid documents may be obtained in electronic format during normal business hours on or after Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at the office of Greenman-Pedersen, Inc., 181 Ballardvale Street, Suite 202, Wilmington, MA 01887; office phone: (978) 570-2985, or by e-mail (nrogers@gpinet.com). All bidders must be prequalified in “Signing – Non Structural” by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation – Highway Division in order to submit bids for the work.
A pre-bid meeting will be held at the Office of the Essex National Heritage Commission at 10 Federal Street, Suite 12, Salem, MA 01970 on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at 10 A.M. to observe the working conditions and to discuss the project scope.
