Swampscott Unites, Respects, Embraces (S.U.R.E.) Diversity celebrates Black History is Our History: Swampscott’s Black History.

6:00 pm – Join us in the Swampscott High School Atrium for the music of Joseph Bologne Chevaliar (The Black Mozart) performed by Swampscott’s String Quartet
Contemporary music by the Swampscott School Chorus and Band

6:30 pm – We continue in the SHS Auditorium featuring:

Enzo Surin – acclaimed Haitian-American Poet – When My Body was a Clinched Fist / winner of 2021 Annual Book Award for Poetry

The Swampscott Middle School Chorus

Dr. Nancy Schultz – Historian explores the life of Blacks from Colonial Swampscott
