On Friday, August 31, our Future Leaders completed their tenth summer of the only program in Essex County which offers young people a paid summer job working directly with our partners in the National Park Service to develop as professionals to become leaders in Essex County.
On June 16, Essex Heritage kicked-off the summer season with guided boat tours to Bakers Island Light Station.
In keeping with our long tradition of supporting the region’s unique cultural heritage, we announced the 2018 Essex Heritage Partnership Grant Program recipients at our spring meeting in Saugus on April 5.
On Monday, March 19, Essex Heritage participated in a joint press conference with Congressman Moulton and Congresswoman Tsongas who announced a bill that would eliminate the funding authorization sunset provision and the total funding cap for the Essex National Heritage Area.
