Planned Giving

Help keep the Essex National Heritage Area place like nowhere else during your lifetime and beyond.

By including Essex Heritage in your estate plan, you can secure the future of the Essex National Heritage Area for future generations. Your planned giving investment will allow Essex Heritage to continue to preserve and enhance this place: allowing visitors and residents alike to experience its unique character now and forevermore.  Through programming like Trails & Sails, which invites individuals from all walks of life to attend more than 150 free events throughout Essex County, to Partnership Grants that foster and support organizations sharing in our mission, to preservation projects that restore historic places such as Bakers Island Light Station, and Education programming that connects educators and students to the rich natural, historic, and cultural assets in their own backyards - your investment will ensure the lasting legacy of this profound place.

In appreciation of your thoughtful commitment, we welcome you to consider joining the Essex Heritage Legacy Society.

Society members will be recognized in occasional publications and receive advance notification of special events.  You can become eligible for membership in the Essex Heritage Legacy Society by including a bequest to Essex Heritage in the amount of $5,000 or more in your will, naming Essex Heritage as a beneficiary of your retirement fund or life insurance in the amount of $5,000 or more, or by making an outright donation of $5,000 or more to the Essex Heritage endowment fund. *
