This tour seeks to uncover the myths, and debunk any misconceptions you might have about the Salem Witch Trials. This walking tour lasts approximately 1 hour, and includes stops at the Witch Trials Memorial, and the site of the original 17th century Jail.

Tours: Fridays at 1:45pm and Weekends at 11:45am & 1:45pm.

Walking Tour - Tragedy & Triumph: True Tales from Salem's Past

There's more to Salem's Story...Founded in 1626 Salem is best known for the tragic Witch Hysteria of 1692, but with almost 400 years of history to explore being one of America's oldest cities means there is more than just one story to tell! From allegations of black masses to America's first delivieries of black pepper, Salem's seen it all! Join a Victorian costumed guide for a 80 minute stroll through the streets of Salem old and new to discover the True Tales

Boat Tour - Eerie Stories on Salem Sound 

Join us aboard our vessel "Naumkeag" for storytelling on Salem Sound, where your crew will entertain you with local folklore and tales of Salem's dark past. Departing from the bustling waterfront and historic maritime district, this 1.5 hour evening boat tour is a unique offering which allows guests to experience Salem in October like never before. Escape the crowds and take to the sea, where hauting tales and harbor views await.

Boat Tour - Bakers Island Light Tours

Join us aboard our landing craft "Naumkeag" and adventure to a place like nowhere else! This 2.5 hour boat tour is a unique offering which allows guests to visit Bakers Island Light Station and explore the 10 acres owned by Essex Heritage with panoramic view of the coast from Boston to Gloucester. Learn more about the tour.

Boat Tour - Misery Island Boat Tour

Join us aboard our landing craft "Naumkeag" to Great Misery Island in Salem Sound. Along the way, hear stories about the rich history of the harbor and how the Misery Islands acquired their unique name. When you arrive, you'll have 1.5 hours to explore the trails, open meadows, rocky shoreline, and hidden coves. Boat Tour - Misery Island Hops Tour

This tour is an early evening 21+ cruise of the Salem Sound islands, and includes a refreshing Notch beer. This narrated tour will give you and up-close look of Eagle Island, Children's Island, Bakers Island, and includes stopping and disembarking on Misery Island. 

Tours: FINISHED FOR THE 2021 SEASON

Adults (21+ ONLY): $40.00 One beer or cocktail is included with ticket price with a second available for purchase. (Limit 2 drinks per person)

 

Live Theater - Imprisoned! 1692 

Experience the horrors of the Old Witch Gaol (jail), the actualy location where many accused were held during the infamous trials. There's no turning back now. As you step ino the Gaol on the eve of the deadliest night of the Witch Trials, the Jailor will guide you to hear the stories of the convicted and their final pleas. Their fate has been chosen, but is it deserved? We will let you come to your own conclusions.

Shows have been cancelled for 2021, check back in the summer of 2022 for schedule and times
