Going Downtown Exhibit

Come remember or learn about Haverhill's bustling downtown during the mid-twentieth century! "Going Downtown" focuses on the businesses in downtown Haverhill during the Woolworth era. Exhibit will include a section of the counter with stools from Woolworth's, the phone booth from Mitchell's department store, costume from that time period and other ephemera. Driving Directions: 

I-495 N toward Lawrence, take exit 50 for Rte-97 toward Haverhill/Salem NH. Turn right onto Rte-97 S/Broadway (signs for Down Town/Haverhill). Turn right onto Main St. Turn left onto Ginty Blvd. Use the right 2 lanes to merge onto Water St. Turn left onto John Ward Ave --best access to parking lot is from John Ward Ave. Additional parking is also available on the cemetery side of John Ward Ave.
