On Saturday April 19th there will be a series of events on Lynnfield Common and in the Lynnfield Library
11:00am: Patriots Gallery of lawn signs containing biographies of the 38 men of Bancroft’s Company
11:00am: Children’s craft and story time; Children can make their own tri-cornered hats. There will also be a reading of Longfellow’s poem “Midnight Ride of Paul Revere” in the Library.
12:30pm: Fife and Drum Demonstrations
12:35pm: Hear the story of Martin Herrick – Lynnfield’s own midnight rider
12:45pm: Martin Herrick arrives on horseback
12:50pm: Kids Parade
1:00pm: Militia Demonstrations: Musket Display, Mourn Arms presentation, Wreath Laying, 18th Century music with Ron Sarro
2:00pm: Patriotic concert featuring the Reading Community Concert Band.
