This talk shows how Andover helped plant the seeds of the American Revolution. We will see old Andover’s role in the fight for Independence and our legacy in shaping the birth of the nation.

Scott W. Dianis is a longtime resident of Andover with a keen interest in local history, particularly in the stories that help explain the town’s early development and evolution. He recently published an updated edition of Sarah Bailey’s “Historical Sketches of Andover”, detailing the town’s history from its founding to the early 19th century.
