    - The 90-mile roadway links 14 coastal communities.
  - - Essex County Black Experience
    - Exploring the history of Black activism in Essex County.
Programs

      Essex Heritage offers a wide variety of programs for all ages to engage residents and visitors with the cultural resources of the heritage area.
- - - Education Programs
    - Education programs offer opportunities for teachers and students to explore the rich, diverse history of the region.
  - - Future Leaders
    - A summer youth employment and training program with a unique partnership with the National Park Service.
  - - Partnership Grants
    - The program comprises four categories: Education, Preservation, Interpretation, and Inclusion.

    - Essex Heritage provides a variety of public programs to highlight the unique assets of Essex County, MA.
  - - Photo Contest
    - Each year, photographers of all levels submit stunning images of the Essex Heritage Area.
  - - Tours
    - Learn about our walking tours, films and more at the Regional Visitor Center.
- - - Revolution 250
    - Essex County Revolution 250 is an initiative of Essex Heritage in partnership with Massachusetts Rev250 and dozens of regional museums, heritage sites, and organizations.
